Let’s be real — I’ve been glued to the calendar these days. A20 is finally dropping on July 16, and this ocean-themed Royal Pass is easily my most anticipated release of the entire summer.

I was completely blown away by the blue-purple wave visuals when the teaser first came out. I’ve already made up my mind to pick up the Elite Pass Plus, mainly for the Beach Pool Convertible — it’s a limited exclusive that will be permanently unobtainable after the season ends, and I know I’d kick myself if I skipped it.

Let’s start with pricing — veteran players know the drill. The Free Royal Pass is available at no cost; the Elite Pass costs 720 UC; and the Elite Pass Plus, priced at 1920 UC, instantly grants 25 tiers upon purchase. The biggest value highlight is the Elite Pass: you’ll receive a 720 UC rebate when you reach max tier 100, essentially making it free of charge.

If you haven’t topped up your UC yet, I usually go with COCODP. It boasts fast delivery without all the tedious in-game redirects, totally hassle-free. Servers are bound to be swamped on launch day, so stocking up on UC ahead of time is way better than scrambling at the last minute.

I’ve gone through every core reward for this A20 season, and these three are the most worth grinding for: The Tier 100 Wavesong Sprite SET — an anime-style female outfit with long gradient blue-purple hair. As you advance, you’ll gradually unlock glowing skirt effects, ambient wave visuals, and an exclusive lobby showcase animation. This sense of progression is far more engaging than obtaining a full outfit directly from crates. The matching helmet, backpack and parachute all follow the ocean aesthetic. Rock the complete set on Erangel and you’re guaranteed to turn heads.

The level 50 Wavesong Sprite-Kar98K is the only upgradable weapon skin of the season. As a sniper main, this is easily the heart and soul of the Royal Pass for me. It always felt like something was missing when I dueled opponents with upgradable sniper rifles using a regular Kar98K now Im finally getting my hands on one.

The level 40 ChromeShark SET goes for a hardcore masculine vibe, and the shark mask looks incredibly sharp. It strikes a clever balance between laid-back vacation energy and crisp combat aesthetics. Rock the full set and youll be the toughest player on Erangel, no question.

Rounding out the highlights is the Beach Pool Convertible. Its a bright blue vehicle skin decked out with pool and beach-themed accents, serving as the perfect finishing touch to your summer loadout. Pair it with the matching outfits to pull off a complete, cohesive summer battlefield ensemble.

This Royal Pass runs until September 11, giving you plenty of time to grind at your leisure. Completing daily missions each day is more than enough to reach max tier.My personal take is that you should grab at least the Elite Pass — the UC rebate makes it a no-brainer, and there’s no telling when this upgradable Kar98K skin will make a return if you miss out this time.

If you’re still on the fence about going for this Kar98K, I’d recommend checking out early access gameplay from streamers on Poppo Live. Plenty of creators already have test server access, and the actual in-game wave effects when aiming down sights look even more stunning than the trailer. If you want to send gifts to streamers while watching live content on Poppo Live, using Poppo Live recharge is far more convenient — long-time regular viewers already know the drill.

Before the servers go live tomorrow, make sure you’ve stocked up on UC. I personally always go with COCODP — it offers better value than purchasing directly in-game, with instant top-up delivery. Get your UC recharged ahead of time so you can snag the Elite Pass right at launch, no last-minute scrambling in the morning.

See you on Erangel on July 16. Rock the Wavesong Sprite set and wield the upgradable Kar98K — let’s go head-to-head in the final circle.
