For all fighter players in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), April 22, 2026, is no ordinary Wednesday. Aulus, once mocked as "too sluggish in the late game and stuck in a dire spot early on", has finally received a full rework and been reborn.

If you previously left him unused in your hero list because of his clunky mechanics, this update is worth giving him a chance to prove himself. After all, who wouldn’t want to try a frontline brawler with built-in crowd control immunity, two dashes, and a large-area AOE execute?

Of course, to quickly master the revamped hero, besides practicing your mechanics, you’ll need plenty of MLBB diamonds for direct top-up—new skins and hero experiences always require a bit of startup capital. COCODP, a platform many veteran players use, saves a lot of time on price comparisons and guarantees instant top-ups. I even stocked up on some diamonds myself right after the version update today.

The core of Auluss rework is to fix his problems: "slow passive stacking, getting controlled every time he engages, and being stranded after casting a full combo". Previously, Aulus fought like a blacksmith only swinging his axe on the spot; now, he is more like a red-hot sharp blade. Before, he would use his first skill to charge forward, only to be rooted immediately by enemy hard crowd control. Now he gains crowd control immunity after a 2-second delaymeaning with proper timing, you can crash into the enemy backline like an out-of-control heavy truck, with no one able to hold you back. More importantly, basic attacks no longer cancel his channeling, and his overall control smoothness has been improved drastically.

His second skill is the real highlight. Two dashes with healing effects, plus an extended range, completely unlock his kiting capability. Whether dashing through jungle creeps to escape, using the first dash to chase enemy carries in teamfights, or the second dash to pull out of the fire zone, he can handle it all with ease. With his skill mechanics changed, his build path must be adjusted accordingly. The old full attack speed and critical strike build was too fragile; for a frontline fighter who needs to engage and deal AOE damage like this, a half-tank half-damage build is the optimal choice.

Speaking of this, I’m sure many of you are asking—even if the hero is strong, a skin makes it feel complete. Along with Aulus’s rework launch, his limited-edition skin may make a comeback simultaneously with brand-new skill visual effects. Here comes a practical question: what if you don’t have enough diamonds? Many players top up directly in the game for convenience, but I personally recommend COCODP. This isn’t an advertisement, just a money-saving tip from a veteran player—it’s more cost-effective than the official channel with extra discounts, and the money saved can buy you several milk teas.

One last reminder: newly reworked overpowered heroes usually only stay dominant for a week or two. Seize the chance while most players haven’t figured him out yet, and climb the ranks fast in ranked matches.
